NTUUC Ned Fritz College Scholarship

NTUUC offers the Ned Fritz College Scholarship

Even traditional degrees can serve the environment and qualify!

If you are pursuing a degree in biology, geology, or ornithology the path to an environmental career may seem pretty straight forward. However almost every degree has opportunities for careers which will help our global environment: everything from economics, math and computer science to art, ethics, and teaching. And, if you have long range plans for business, law or medicine, your talents can be put to good work for our environment.

Many schools offer interdisciplinary studies where students learn to address a broad array of rapidly changing environmental problems that are posing significant challenges to sustaining biodiversity in the world today.

There are opportunities in a wide variety areas such as the impact of industrialization on the environment, economics and resource availability, regulation and law, environmental ethics, landscape-level conservation, political ecology, and environmental technology and management. These professions need smart, educated and dedicated people who truly believe in our UU principles.

If you are pursuing a degree related to environmental work the NED FRITZ SCHOLARSHIP offered by NTUUC can help.  For more information, click on this LINK.
