Music Director

Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Plano seeks a part-time Music/Choir Director. Successful candidate will have experience directing and accompanying amateur choirs, have the ability to teach vocal technique, be familiar with a variety of musical styles, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The church has about 200 members and about 12-20 choir members.

Duties include conducting the choir and playing piano on two Sundays per month, scheduling musicians for the remaining Sundays, and general planning and leadership of the church music program. The position usually requires about 20-25 hours/month. Benefits include paid vacation and use of church facilities for private instruction and recitals.
