The Men's Fellowship began in 1987 as the Men's Club. However, it is not really a "club." In fact, all male church members and friends are automatically members of the Fellowship. For that reason, the Fellowship's leaders are on a continuous quest to plan activities that are responsive to the general or specific interests of church men. Those activities include community service, "Chuckwagon Breakfasts," projects on the church grounds, attending sporting events, poker parties and simple bonding. They also designed and sold over fifty church logo shirts and donated a new Altar Table for use in Sunday Services.
The Men's Fellowship meets for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of every month at Poor Richard's, Park Blvd. and Ave. K.

Over the twenty year span of off-again, on-again Man's group activities, many (perhaps imbellished) stories were told of all-night pig roasts. In those days, a pit was dug on the Cooper's place in Sachse, the men kept a constant vigil, and the finished pig was transported to the church where a veterinarian carved it up for the nourishment of the congregation. In 2008, fire codes turned the pit into a smoker, the pig became several enormous pork roasts, and the veterinarian was replaced by Dr. Jim Hinton, our resident internist. The vigil remained the same. Following the church service on June 22nd, the new Labyrinth and playground were dedicated, and then the celebrants settled in for a pork extravaganza. Accolades were heaped upon the exhausted roasters: the results were well worth the effort. The pork was tender and delicious.
