The Pleasures of the Arts

We thrill to the sound of choral music well sung, and many of us enjoy the singing. We get chills from tense drama and love to laugh at clever comedy. The arts can enhance your spiritual experience or deliver a rollicking good time. We have many talented folks in our congregation who enjoy sharing their gifts with us. You may be one of those folks. However, whether through performance or appreciation, the Arts will be part of your experience at Community.

Church Choir

Performs at Sunday services and also presents several special concerts throughout the year. For more information, see the Choir page.

First Friday Folk Singers

Open to all who want to play, sing, or listen to folk music or enjoy the fellowship of music. Meets the first Friday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in Founders Hall.

Theater Group

Presents dramatic performances throughout the year.

Spirit Moon Drum Circle

An opportunity to create a sacred space for celebration, healing and connection through the rhythm of the drums and other percussion. Meets at the church from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. Plenty of drums and percussion are provided.
