This is the theme for this year's Annual Women's Alliance Retreat. Our retreat will be held on April 11, 12 and 13, 2014. We will be going to Glen Lake Retreat Center in Glen Rose, TX. Open to all women, 18 and over. You do not need to be a member of Women's Alliance to attend. Glen Lake Retreat Center is located outside of the small historic town of Glen Rose. It is located on the beautiful Paluxy River which is great for wading.
We have two price options: The first one is a deluxe cabin, which will accommodate 9 persons on the bottom bunks. The cabin has a large lighted vanity area and a bathroom with showers. The mattresses are twin size and firm. You will need to provide your bedding and towels. This price is $100 for the weekend which includes 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
There are a limited number of hotel style rooms available for $150. These rooms are semi-private with 2 twin beds and a private bath in each and you do not need to bring bedding nor towels. This price also includes your meals.
Visit with old friends and make new ones at our annual gathering. Join us for a fun weekend bonding with other women thru sharing, songs, walks, crafts, yoga activities, river walking and much more. We will have lots of activities planned but you can also choose to spend some alone time in any way you would like. This is your chance to get away from it all! Come join in the fun and camaraderie! We look forward to seeing you there!!
There will even be a Variety Show on Saturday night. You can act silly, tell a joke, recite a poem, sing, dance, juggle, demonstrate a skill and anything else you would like to do. Get together with friends and plan to share some fun. Be Creative!! Anything goes!!!!
