When you visit CUUC for the first time, you’ll encounter not only church members, but also friends of the church and other visitors like yourself! We invite you to engage with us at your own pace and in the ways that are most meaningful to you.

The simplest way to learn more about us is by spending time with us. Attend Sunday services or check out our gatherings and events. You can read up on Unitarian Universalism here on our website or from brochures we have available in the lobby.

If you’d like to explore church membership, we host a “Path to Membership” orientation class periodically during the year. These are a great way to get an overview of life at CUUC and insight into Unitarian Universalism. You’ll connect with current members, learn about ways to get involved, and be able to ask as many questions as you like.

We highly recommend the Path to Membership class, but it’s not a requirement to become a member. Simply ask us for a membership packet which contains information about us and some basic forms to complete. When you’re ready, submit the forms, sign our Membership Book, and you’re in! We are a non-creedal church so there’s no declaration of faith or intent required to join.

We ask that all church members make a commitment to engage with the life of the church through “time, talent, and treasure.” There are many ways to volunteer, no matter your skill set or the amount of time you have available. Financial gifts of any size are always welcomed: the demonstration of your support for the church and its mission is what’s meaningful.

For more information, you can chat with one of our membership representatives in the lobby on Sunday, or email the Membership Committee at membcom@communityuuchurch.org.

We welcome you and your interest in CUUC!
