Our Farewell Service with Pastor Kris Cervantes on Sunday, May 21 was meaningful, powerful, funny, and bittersweet. The reception that followed was heavily attended (with many pies) and included many folks who had put a streak of purple and blue color in their hair as an homage Pastor Kris’ own brightly colored tresses. As our church embarks on our transition to our new Consulting Minister, the Rev. Dr. Aija Duelm, our leaders encourage you to remember that it’s normal to feel many different feelings during this time. If you find yourself experiencing sadness or concern about the church, please reach out to the community and to our Board of Trustees. We will move through this time together.
