The status of women’s rights in America is in peril. As our nation and particularly our state seek to criminalize trans* children and women for exercising bodily autonomy, Pastor Kris Cervantes takes a tough look at the ways women’s voices have been shut down and cut off by sexual violence and threat, in ancient times and today. Despite these obstacles, women and queer folk have spoken truth to power from 4,000 years ago to just yesterday, and we–and our friends and allies–will not be silenced today.<\/p>\n
