As a faith community we acknowledge that there are many ways in which many religions have supported unjust actions over time. As much as we aspire to higher principles, there are people in the longtime UU church that have used this faith as a tool to support racist ideas within the larger community. We have the chance to learn about this now with clear eyes and honest hearts.
