Our recent Balloon Festival parking fund raiser was a huge success!  With the help of 22 volunteers, (THANK YOU so much !), we were able to park 750 cars between Friday and Saturday nights.  These efforts brought in about $10,000 in gross receipts, of which about $7,000 was netted for the church (after expenses). This was far in excess of the $3,000 gross receipts budgeted. Big factors in the success were favorable weather and the fact that our neighbors, First United Methodist, had reduced parking capacity due to selling a big chunk of their land.
