Black Lives Matter

We voted as a congregation to display a Black Lives Matter in front of our church in solidarity and support of our members, friends, and neighbors of color. As a majority white congregation, we know we have work to do, not just to become more inclusive, but to push back against racism and do our part to dismantle racist institutions. Our faith calls us to let ourselves be changed for the better by what we learn about ourselves, and to continually move forward towards love and justice for all people.

Equality Texas

Equality Texas has six pillars that are foundational in their work to build a state where all Texans can thrive:

Organizing communities across the state to speak up for equality,
Educating the public about current events and pending legislation,
Analyzing policy and educating lawmakers about LGBTQIA+ issues,
Advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights at state and local hearings,
Training leaders in every corner of the state to fight for human rights, and
Connecting Texans with the tools to respond to discrimination.
