Side with Love

Side with Love is a public advocacy campaign (sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Association) that seeks to harness love’s power to stop oppression. You’ll often find groups of UUs in yellow Side with Love tees at demonstrations, in marches, and visiting local, regional, or national government offices. For more information, visit their website.

Black Lives Matter

We voted as a congregation to display a Black Lives Matter in front of our church in solidarity and support of our members, friends, and neighbors of color. As a majority white congregation, we know we have work to do, not just to become more inclusive, but to push back against racism and do our part to dismantle racist institutions. Our faith calls us to let ourselves be changed for the better by what we learn about ourselves, and to continually move forward towards love and justice for all people.

An LGBTQ Welcoming Congregation

We are a Welcoming Congregation, a designation recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association. This means we affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all persons who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) at every level of congregational life—in worship, in our programming, and in fellowship- welcoming them as whole people, just as they are, with all of the gifts, talents, and spirit they have to share.
