As we face more challenges to intellectual freedom, Community Unitarian Universalist Church stands for the freedom to read. Groups trying to ban books or attach warning labels to literature can stigmatize people and their lived experience. We reject these book bans, holding that the freedom to read is essential to democracy. On October 27, we will celebrate the reopening of our church library with a special service and reception.
