What do the three biggest December holidays have in common? Fire! Light in the darkness! Candles and stars! Elena Westbrook will lead a celebration of light in the darkness that recognizes the importance and the beauty of the darkness in our short winter days. Come to hear stories and light candles observing the winter solstice (a.k.a. Yule), Hanukkah and Christmas. This will be an All Ages service, children and youth will be staying in the Sanctuary for the entire service, with no Religious Education classes available on Dec. 22.
