Loving kindness, or Metta, is considered one of the four immeasurables in the Buddhist tradition. It is a form of meditation that helps us cultivate universal joy and love by recognizing the need for all creatures to experience love, safety, peace, and happiness. In this session, we will explore the extraordinary story of a monk who challenged war with loving kindness, and experience a short metta practice. Music will be provided by Pam McLain.
