When people are asked to recall their early experiences of community, church or otherwise, while they’re seldom able to recall what was explicitly said, they can almost recall how said communities made them feel as a child. What does this mean for our faith community(-ies), who often ascribes its roots to enlightenment era ideas such as “I think therefore I am,” in a time where subjective intuition and emotional connection are, now more than ever, the most essential tools for our survival?
