Thank You for a Wonderful First (2026) Community Earth Fest!

Our first-ever Community Earth Fest was one of our church’s most ambitious projects in a while — five months in the making — and we did it together!
It was truly wonderful to see so many people jump into something new with energy, creativity, hopefulness, and care. From the garden tours and scavenger hunt, to chalk art, bubbles, music, face painting, raffle baskets, canned food donations, and joyful conversation, the day was full of
connection and community spirit.

The garden and our gardeners were certainly stars of the day. The garden looked beautiful, the tours were informative, and the scavenger hunt was a great success. Our attendees also brought canned food donations for God’s Pantry, and the raffle added another fun and generous layer to the event.
While we would have loved to welcome even more attendees, everyone who came seemed to have a meaningful and joyful experience. People got to know CUUC, and some have already returned — bringing others and spreading the word. Many little seeds were planted at Earth Fest, and we know what amazing things can grow, bloom, and bear fruit from our community’s hard work and dedication.

Most of all, Earth Fest reminded us what is possible when we work together. Thank you to everyone who gave your time, talents, creativity, leadership, and hard work to make this day happen. We make an awesome team!
