Applied Evolution, Part 1: Not a Moment, But a Movement

In the first of a three-part sermon series, Pastor Kris Cervantes introduces us to Unitarian minister Marion Shutter, whose TWELVE-part sermon series, “On Applied Evolution,” garnered him both fame and notoriety in the year 1900. One hundred and 21 years later, we’ll examine Shutter’s optimistic assertion that “Science has taught theology to look at facts as they are, and not as it wishes or hopes or imagines or guesses them to be.”
