The Labor Day is a time to celebrate working people and remember their struggles to achieve the many benefits we have today. Within the capitalist structure the work of volunteers in our faith communities is considered a waste of money, yet for us it is a labor of love that brings a significant difference in our lives and in the lives of others. This Sunday we will celebrate and honor all our volunteers.
