Come join our own Sandy Schneider on Sunday, October 19, for her message “Freedom through Literacy – The Dreamers Library in Jordan,” and learn about her adventures in Jordan this July.

Sandy, a teacher with 25 years of experience, was awarded a Fulbright-Hays Summer Seminar Abroad fellowship in Jordan in 2023.  During that time, she became familiar with a non-governmental organization called Squash Dreamers, which serves refugees and disadvantaged girls in Amman.  Having a passion for equity in education and English language literacy, she developed a plan for a Dreamers Library. She carried it out with the Squash Dreamers in July of this year. Sandy is now passionate about sustaining and growing the Dreamers Library to promote freedom through literacy.

Elena Westbrook will provide the music for this service.
