John Thornburg is a pastor, poet, song enlivener and professional encourager. He is a fourth generation Methodist minister who served as a parish pastor in three churches in Dallas, as a traveling song enlivener throughout the U.S. and West Africa, and as a consultant to churches who wanted to dig deeper into their core purpose and mission. He and his wife, Beth, now live in Cedar Park, near Austin.
