The seven (or eight!) Unitarian Universalist principles have been a familiar way to express what UU churches and congregants value, and the vision and goals that call us to this religion. A proposal for replacing the seven principles with a statement of values, rather than a list of ideas, will be voted on at this year’s General Assembly.
