I chose the series title “Keeping the Faith” because the liturgical calendar we follow names September’s theme to be “Renewal.” As Unitarian Universalists, covenants of right action and relationship lie at the heart of our faith in its deepest roots, from its ancient history to the unfolding present and future. To renew covenant is to draw strength from the interwoven threads of our own stories, and the beating hearts at their center.
