Rev. Dr. Aija Duelm (she/her/hers) is a UU minister, living in Benbrook, TX. Rev. Aija has received master’s degree in business from the University of Latvia, Riga, Latvia, MDiv from Eden Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO, and Doctor of Ministry degree from Brite Divinity School, Fort Worth, TX. Her work experiences include pastoral leadership in a congregation in St. Louis, MO, healthcare chaplaincy in both adult and pediatric settings and leading Religious Education programs in UU congregations. Rev. Aija completed ministerial internship at Horizon UU Church, Carrollton, TX. Rev. Aija is a group fitness instructor and UBarU camp manager. She began her ministry at Community Unitarian Universalist Church in July of 2023.
We will enter mystery and possibly be surprised with a very different kind of gift box service. As we look toward this year that comes with its hopes, dreams and possibly some trepidation, this multi-generational service will remind us that life’s mysteries are a gift that connect us to our core values.
Come Christmas Eve at 6pm for our traditional lessons and carols service. Join with the choir in singing traditional Christmas hymns and our Community Candlelight Service. Come early (5pm) for Wassil and cookies and children’s crafts.
