Come Christmas Eve at 6pm for our traditional lessons and carols service. Join with the choir in singing traditional Christmas hymns and our Community Candlelight Service. Come early (5pm) for Wassil and cookies and children’s crafts.
December, time of the winter solstice, is about more than Christmas. Join us on December 22nd as we seek light in dark times, exploring Yule and Hanukkah traditions through stories, candle lighting and songs. Special music provided by Pam McLain and Sherry Holcomb.
There is no rehearsal, just add you, costumes, a few props and stir! If you need a costume, come at 9:30am to make one. We will need manger animals, stars, shepherds, angels, wise people and queens. All will take part in retelling the timeless story of hope born as a baby in humble conditions.
During this Holiday season many of us are tired, lonely and hopeless. Our candles are burning low or maybe have lost the flame altogether. We come together to share the light with each other, reminding ourselves that when a candle lights another candle it loses nothing, but creates more light.
